gameplay loop is okay, but I feel like content could be better. it feels pretty simple yet clunky after a bit, and without premium currency, im kinda just logging in once or twice a day to get bonuses, then leave. It was very fun to initially level up with my digimon partner, but the game is NOT prepared for any sort of scaling. after reaching level 100, it doesnt feel like im doing anything except waiting for bonuses to reset.

This is a very fun digimon game, I will say that it has a particular audience. If you're here for a game where you're actively playing, this is not the game for you. you check in daily and click through some menus to gain progress and level up. If you enjoy gradual progression and leveling, and slowly but surely seeing the various digimon you collect grow stronger, I can definitely recommend this game. It also has some really nice pixel art and designs for both new fans and old.

EDIT: Dropped a star because the game has had 4 emergency maintenances in a month. Uptime is bad. It's a perfectly serviceable idle game if you just want to kill time, but that's all it is. No story, no choices, just little pixel Digimon fighting in endless circles while occasionally the game tells your your numbers went up. If that's what you want, great, it's a good version of that. If you're looking for anything other that little animated figures, you're gonna be disappointed.
